Devakar remote water-falls

Devakar  remote-water falls

On the last  few days before the year 2016,  once we went to Devakar water falls one of the most uninhabited water falls in Uttara Kannada District. Of course the falls is marvelous and eye-catching but the route is toughest highly risky. It's not for the old ones. My son, daughter and son in law like trekking many times they did it enthusiastically with their peer. But this time we went with them  with close relatives and did this adventure. many of us were retired ones. Thank God we could it and it was a hilarious picnic.
There are no routes to reach falls not at least path-way or any foot- path found there.
when we reached Vajralli in Yallapur...my brother contacted some one on his cell and then we took a deviation.

it was a narrow mud road. At first with so much of patience and boldness the vehicle-driver ran the vehicle in the midst of thick branches of trees up to 7-8km from the main road. The place was cool and shady  but further... despite of his hard struggle he could not run even an inch no vehicle moved further it seemed  to us no trace mark nothing!!! We just stood watching dense forest ahead
surprisingly.

My brother again contacted and  took help of two teachers. They wondered how come we came to know this water-falls we told them it was searched in Internet.

It's  the most remote  place  not even a single person was seen there. We would have not reached the spot without their help.

In between thick tall trees we walked when we lagged  behind my children came to our help. we took long fat stick in hand taping it on the dried leaves to see if any harmful snakes or any poisonous insects or any other thing might be hidden and walked further I was much worried about my husband. He hardly accompanied us to visit falls but this time he kept quiet for he was with his beloved daughter.
Walking one behind the other, kidding with one another,  clapping, screaming with aloud voice, climbing ups and downs with fear  and fun were amusing.
We imitated the style and stance of  kannada movie heroes Shivaraj Kumar and Ramesh in 'Nammu Mandar Huve'  while calling others when we lagged behind. ''O ho...yy"  "O ho..yy" and came to help each-other.

After covering approximately three and half kmts. we reached the spot. WAh! it was such a beautiful falls!! Both body and mind became  cool when we watched the awesome attractive falls.

The two men who came with us went back saying, " you all are tired .first have your lunch what you brought with you then you can enjoy watching falls".
That time we realized what we had with us to eat. We didn't carry any extra eatables or water-bottles with us, it seemed not  much is needed  for we thought we could have it in any restaurant nearby but nothing was available. Only crumps of biscuits and a few fruits we had in our vanity bag and two small water-bottles that s' all. We all tried to manage with it for the whole day but we enjoyed a lot!! All were pleased!!

While coming back, my husband started kidding, reminding us one of the kannada horror movie in which the actors walking in the thick forest, disappears one by one caught by evil spirit but we never  afraid instead had a hearty laugh.
We felt this water-falls is not much popular coz it is not known by many.

                                          It was wonderful adventure.
