My garden flower-Hibiscus

 

Massive selection of  flowering-plant

grown in bonsai style in pot

they bloom in my flower garden

fill in immense pleasure to dream-in.

 

The flowers are large and showy

trumpet-shaped with petals five

soft and radiant glow

varied colors pink  and red

purple and yellow

dancing in sparking sun

fluttering in tropical breeze.

 

I gaze and gaze in amazement
                                  the only white hibiscus plant

                                        rooted in the earth.

           spread branches widely free

                         pruned well  and n0uriushed too

 

                                                  Its leaves are alternate

                                    ovate and lanceolate

 

                        bears every time in gay

                                 thirty to forty flowers a day

from December to June

in tropical sun

make the earth smile

and look like angle

 

 I pick and flick them

on Lord Ganesh as offerings 
on festive days
 

Serve my family with its tea

for its health benefits.

 

white hibiscus cast her fragrance

and radiance over me

as a symbol of purity.
