Book that impressed me

A few months back, my daughter and son-in-law had come home. They knew I am a voracious reader. They presented me four books. I read all the books.  Among those books, one I liked at the most. The name of the book is “Discover your destiny” with the monk who sold his ferrary, written by Robin Sharma. It left a long unforgettable impression on me. My son-in-law had told me that this is the book that turned his life, filled in him confidence, the dire need of life. My daughter appreciated the thoughts in the book that fascinated her to inculcate leadership qualities. The other day, when I was talking with my son who is in abroad on skype, I talked with him about the book, he too agreed. He also showed utmost interest to read the book. Even my husband liked the ‘7stages of self-awakening’ I read it to him loudly. We both sat and pondered over the thought of seven stages. I really felt it purifies my mind and lead to the path of more spiritual experiences. The book contains innumerable quotations which adds more courage when I think of that in my distress.

2 Know thyself and you will know the universe and the gods.

3 Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.

4 Wisdom without execution is worthless.

5 Life waits for none.

6 Living an excellent life is a manifestation of self-love.

7 Fear not the unknown, for it is where your greatness resides.

No of illustrations and happenings in the book throws light on personality development. Self -help is the best help. One should always have positive outlook which ultimately bestows happiness and fulfilment in life. In all these sense, this book is worth-reading. One should read it without fail.
